The Career Development Centre CDC at the University of Zakho is glad to announce that the ( Cash for Work) Project has been successfully accomplished. This was the first project that takes place at the University of Zakho incorporated with the global organization GIZ, which was run in the summer holiday. 

It is worth mentioning that this project was supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development  (BMZ) and by the GIZ Prospects for Employment program (P4E).

Cash for Work activities offer a short-term employment opportunity through GIZ P4E in different areas of work in the public sector, including but not limited to agricultural activities, rehabilitation of parks, maintenance of roads, and activities in nurseries. This project carried on for 40 days and 50 young graduates and students participated in it. We appreciate their hardworking and the changes that they left behind at the University of Zakho.
